Looking at my bill I just received today from Dairyland Cycle Insurance in Wisconsin.
I'm 50 years old, and own my own home.
To insure a 2003 FXDL with...
$100,000/$300,000 Bodily injury / liability,
$100,000/$300,000 passenger bodily injury / liability,
$100,000/$300,000 uninsured motorist bodily injury / liability,
$50,000 property damage,
$500.00 deductable on both comprehensive and collision
$5,000 optional equipment rider, my premium for the year is $273.42.
That includes a Winter discount and a 10% discount for taking the MSF course.

insurance rates are hard to compare do to all the variables in equipment and owner and value. i shopped last fall all the big guys for my 07 e/glide, gieco had the best rates and coverages by far. also they covered aftermarket add ons and towing. i called my farm bureau agent and went item for item on the coverage. he called me back the next day and matched them, so i stayed with the local guy

I find that hard to believe the Gieco had the best rates, when I looked at insurance while shopping for bikes, I got quotes from all tops too. In my area Gieco was 2000 higher then anyone else period. For that much I could buy a corvette instead almost.

WOW! These prices are all over the place! I pay $507.76 on an 06 Ultra AND my wifes 08 Street Glide. Thats right, $507.76 on both bikes for 12 months. I am with Dairyland, and have what is called the gold policy. I think it means you pay your bills on time.
