I have Dairyland. Cost me $387 a year. I'm 24 great credit and have never had an accident, auto or bike. I have State Farm for everything else but they wanted 90 a month for the bike.

I recently switched from American Modern Home Insurance Co. to Rider Insurance Insurance Co.

Rate difference and poor service form AMH were the reasons,

I now have a claim with Rider due to an accident on Mother's Day. Going to work that morning a deer ran in front of me and I hit it broadside. Never saw it till I was on the ground and the deer was sliding next to me.

They have $8,000.00 dollars in Accessory Coverage,

Towing reimbursemnet,

Helmet Coverage, Safety Apparel Coverage,

I will give updates as to their handling of the claim as I receive info from them,

Arizona Department of Transportation Research Project Manager John Semmens has recommended that car insurers issue license plates, and that they be held responsible for the full cost of injuries and property damages caused by their licensees under the Disneyland model. Plates would expire at the end of the insurance coverage period, and licensees would need to return their plates to their insurance office to receive a refund on their premiums. Vehicles driving without insurance would thus be easy to spot because they would not have license plates, or the plates would be past the marked expiration date.

I've had Markel (Bikeline) insurance for several years.

I got Progressive for my new 09 Road King Classic... about 350.00 per year. I opted out on the medical (I have full medical at work), stayed low on property, 1000.00 deductible comprehnsive, 500.00 deductible collision.

South Florida, excellent credit. Paid cash for the bike, in Florida you do not need insurance on a bike as long as you do not have a bank requiring it.

Just my 2 Cents but for those of you who are members of AARP give them a call. They were hands down the cheapest with the most coverage for me here in the beautiful state of Texas.

In Jersey, Rider Ins. Co. has the best rates and coverage. Used them since I got my first bike back in 1980.
