Something else I was told about motorcycle towing insurance. AAA will tow you out of the weeds.

Other road side insurance coverage (can't remember who now), consider you at fault if your motorcycle leaves the road in a single vehicle accident and you have to pay extra for the tow truck to winch you out of the weeds or up a hill.

With AAA, if they have to pull you out before they tow you, I was told that's covered.

AAA in Massachusetts does not tow motorcycles (for ANY upgrade in coverage or policy or for any amount of money). Not at all, no way...

Ride Safe (and pray you don't need a tow in the Republik of Taxachusetts)

No motorcycle coverage in West Virginia either.

Eligible Vehicles - Service applies to all properly licensed four-wheeled motor-driven vehicles of the passenger, pleasure or recreational type (vans, campers and motor homes) if these services can be safely delivered.

if you add the RV coverage to your membership AAA will prorate the amount for the remainder of your membership year. I added it in Feb before I headed to Daytona (membership renews in June) and the amount they billed me was about 7 bucks. They told me it would be covered after 3 days. Thankfully I didn't need to use it. Our renewal came and for our coverage AAA Plus w/ RV for 3 cards is $ 159/year

AAA will tow your bike in Nor*CAL but only if you have your bike insured through them
even if you have the + here it wont cover the RV or Bike unless they are covered on a AAA policy

and the + does not cover RV's but it does have an RV re-embursment policy

I just went through this with them as I wanted RV+ like I had in Texas but CA is a different ball game

I used my HOG 'One time a Year' in Arlington, VA last fall. Closest Dealer was Fairfax, 9 miles...

Used $98.00 of the 'Allowable $100.00 per service call', their words. They did send a truck. Got there in less than one hour. The dealer knew I was coming in for a rear tire...

Two working days later, it was ready. Not my local dealer and the bike was from a local competitor, HD of Washington, in MD. 03 Sporty, less than 1500 miles, literally 7 days after the 4 year tire and wheel warranty expired. $275 and pennies. No patch, no plug, and a new lace wheel rubber... It's not necessarily who you know or bl-w, but where you buy, atleast in this town.

And I still had to get a ride home, where the cargo trailer was sitting.....

We are AAA members. but it sounds like that isnot necessarily the answer either.
