Default Insurance question

Happy New Year To All!!!!
I have a question to you as a rider. What do you think is more important to you. If you had to choose between a insurance policy that. 1. Gave you replacement of your bike if totaled or stolen for the life of your policy. Or 2., you had a $25,000.00 life insurance payment to your estate if killed. And a $250.00 a week disability payment to you for up to 2 years. Both policies I am looking around at different insurance policies. If I was unable to work for any length of time 10 months would be $10,000. Or if I had a wreck on my bike and lived but totaled the 6 year old bike you were riding and would get a brand new bike. Which one would you choose? Thank in advance.

I wasnt aware you get a policy that will replace a 6 yr old bike with a new one. You get current value of the bike if it's totaled.
Your life is worth more than $25,000 or $250a week if disabled.

Bikes can be replaced. Value yourself more than the bike.

BTW - "guaranteed replacement cost" is marketing speak, it is not really.

I have enough life insurance and have both short and long term disability through my employer, so #2 would be of no benefit to me...

and I only put comprehensive on my bikes(with increased values so people don't sue me out of my home) So #1 isn't something I would need either

You can buy life insurance
You can buy bike insurance
You can buy disability insurance

Everyone must examine their own circumstances and protect themselves, their property and their income accordingly. You may choose to protect everything or you may choose to roll the dice somewhat.

Don’t pay for either option.

Well, not trying to be a smart butt. But that didn't answer anything. For once Someone is asking for your opinion. On what would be best not saying I going to take it. Stepup and let it hang out

My policy was direct replacement for 2 years for the bike when new, all of them will start prorating value after that point don't kid yourself, devils in the fine print, read it.

25K or $250 a week is chump change, think about it with today's costs. 25k will just bury you.
