Time for the next upgrade, so I'm selling my speaker lids. They are currently on my 2018 Olive Gold Road King Special. They come loaded with the following:

Speaker lids with an additional set of grills (new never install grills) $200
DD VO-M6x9 speakers $180
Cadence Horn tweeters $75
American Hard Bag Speaker Lid Horn Mounting Kit for Aftermarket 6x9 Lids $169

All speakers and horns work perfectly. MAYBE 20 hours of playing time. I'm building a comp setup, so I'm going with different lids and speakers. I've got ~$620 into this setup. Asking $325 shipped.

If you need them painted gloss black, I can have my buddy who owns a paint shop do that for an additional $75, but I will confirm with him on the price to confirm. I'm in Orlando, FL in case someone local prefers to pick them up for $300.

what were you feeding them?how was the bass

 

6x9s were running off a 800.4 @ 2ohms (Bridged sharing 400w) Crossed at 100hz-3000hz
Horns running off a second 800.4 in stereo getting around 60w each at 4ohm.

Midbass was good, but I also have GZ 8s in the bags that I crossed over lower. I know some people run the VO6x9 down to 70Hz, but I never did.

 

How about water drainage? What do you do when they get wet? I am in Orlando as well and interested but would like them vivid black.

 

These are Marine treated by DD. In light rain it's a non issue. I've never had them in a down pour. And when washing the bike I don't run the hose on them, I work the water around them. Also, there are covers for the speaker lids on Amazon for 20 bucks or so. I just never had a need to order them.
