Funny, I didn't read about it on the internet, I just thought about it. Why would some one would think it's a concern and I came up with the location of the scavenging port located on the right side. Never knew T-Man had an opinion on this. Most of you guys are way smarter than T-Man I realize. He has only been working on the M8 since it's introduction.
This has nothing to do with the OP concern but it's Interesting that Harley race team in King of Bagger racing found a problem with the sump plug that is directly under the scavenging port. The sump plug is a tapered pipe thread and some cases the pipe tap was driven a bit deeper than others. This resulted in restricted scavenging due to the plug protruding too far into the case and restricting flow to the pump.
