thank for the reply ,

Certainly me crank scissored . Its visual . This is the first Time i use a s&s camplate . I installed 4 cams in the original camplate in Other bikes . And they still fine for many kilometers . I dont understand why the s&s camplate bushing are too softer like that . They failed in 200 km . Did you pick in hands the New 550c cam ? Did note the first came is too bigger than the other , and this came is approcimate from the bushing . I understand he's doing much hard force in the bushing . Sorry if my english is poor, i'm from brazil .

my runout is measured in mm , i'm from brazil and here we use only metrical. My runout know is 0.024 mm thats 0.010 " + or - . For know i have dragrace in Day 15 of november and i need to race and don't have Time to do the crank rebuild in this moment . I reinstaled the oem camplate and the wood cam . I runned tomorrow 100 km and the camplate still fine . In service manual says the limit runout for oem camplate is 0.030mm . In my mind the original camplate is harder than s&s bushings . Reminding the s&s camplate failured 100% with 200km . Sorry if my english is not só clear 🙏 but your reeply is very important to me .

You are still off by 1 decimal point.. 0.24 mm is about 0.010 inch. More correctly, 0.254 mm is 0.010 inch.

In my opinion, the cam plate is not the issue but a weak crank.. Good luck at the drag race..

Yes man sorry i wrote wrong . Its 0.24mm . But in harley service manual says 0.30mm is ok with original cam plate and i Will try . Finishing the dragrace in Will install an s&s crank welded . And i Will try s&s camplate again. I'll Tell you here about that experience. Thank's for the support 🙏

Those pesky decimal points can be tricky. Thanks to the OP for clearing up the issue of crank failure and that the cam and/or cam plate was not the problem. Hope the crank holds up for the next drag race.
