I see multiple problems identified by trending samples every year. If it doesn't save my engine, it will give me confidence that I have a healthy engine, trans and Primary. I would guess this would be better than a Dyno sheet when I want to sell it.

No expectations. These are lab results though. I would hope they would like to take a look at them. It's field testing and I'm hoping for good data. I'm really happy with the engine and trans. It's tight and I hope it stays that way.

Ha. Everyone is always debating oil / brands in these forums. How about someone trend their brand? It's really pretty inexpensive and I would be happy to find a place close to your location.

I’m a mechanical reliability engineer and MLT and MLA certified by ICML. I am **** about oil. I am in the boonies so I don’t have a local place to use, but I ship to a place in Dallas.

If you’re experienced in oil sampling, you know this, but for others reading this may be helpful.

I am very **** about the sample collection process and make sure I rinse the bottle multiple times with the sample oil as it is draining. Crack the drain open, let oil come out, get some in sample bottle, shake it, dump it, repeat a couple times. Even though bottles ares sealed, they can still be dirty. And concentrations of contaminants can sit in the pan at the drain and you don’t want to collect those because they are not representative of what’s circulating in the oil, so let it drain a little to let those contaminants flush out.

I also use Mobil1 synthetic in my vehicles. Readily available, they’re highly reputable, and it’s high quality.

oh, also, what oil filter are you using? Any idea what its micron rating and beta ratio are?
