This is a time when you seek out a person that is well paid to do this type of work. The down side to getting it wrong is not worth trying a DIY.

I'm having someone who has harleys and is a mechanic and works in his bikes come out to try to extract the bolt for me. It'll be a few days.

Fuelmoto page said 5 minutes of heat from a heat gun from underneath right? so I can have the guy do the extractor stuff, after I've heated up the bolt area underneath for 5minutes.

The service manual does not say anything about heating the bolt to remove or lock tight when replacing but is good to remember when doing the job.

Same thing happened to me. The service manager at the dealership got it out like it never even happened. Cost me $125 and they picked up and delivered for free.

This kind of repair is not for amateur hour.

I'm in lower queen anne.
I'm hoping a mobile mechanic will be able to get it out. He said he has a 2019 street glide.
Fingers crossed, he should be here in a few days.

I edited my response above once I re-read and saw your original comment about the welder.

But...

I would totally get that one out with a welded nut, you have just enough room above the deck. I have done it more times than I care to remember.

Best of luck.

If he gets it out, great. If not, and if he doesn't totally screw it up let me know if you want someone with a welder.

There isn't enough to weld a nut onto or anything like that. I dont have a welder anyways.
