you asked "Do I really need a crankcase breather while my bike is still stock? I here a lot of things online and don't know what to believe. Hoping I can get more insight on here.

there's only one right answer and it is 'no'...matter of fact the overwhelming vast majority of non stock M8s don't need them or owners don't install them and work just fine...aftermarket companies make all kinds of things and market them and folks fall hook, line and sinker in the advertising and love to spend money on the newest fangled gidgets and gadgets..over a million M8s aren't littering the highways because as garbage because they don't have these things

Thanks! That's the kind of info I wanted to here. I come from twin cams. This being my first M8, I am still learning.

Does this mean he is no longer a douche and doesn't need to go wash his vag?

All/any m8 benefits from crankcase venting due to the limited case design volume. So pick a reputable brand and have at it

That's awesome! Hey, since I'm still a douche I happen to have a Screamin' Eagle High-Flow Air Cleaner Kit - Wedge Style for the M8 for sale. I did the breather bypass on it already. You can have it for $125 shipped to you. HD part number 29400245A.
