Do all the oil cooled M8 have a fan on the oil cooler?

Default Do all the oil cooled M8 have a fan on the oil cooler?
I see on the police supplement that I have a fan on my bike. I'm still waiting on the service manual that I ordered in mid July.

No I believe only the police models and 117 models come stoke with oil cooler fans. Maybe the trikes do also. Not too sure though. Correct me if I’m wrong please

The more I learn about my 114 2019 FLHTP the more I like it.

I had a '20 RKS, and currently own a "21 RKS, and neither one came with the oil cooler fan. I installed a Thundermax oil cooler fan, and had the dealer flash the ECM to activate it. It must be just the police bikes that come stock with it. IMHO, the fan should be stock on all the oil cooled bikes.

H-D just released the oil cooler fan for M8 touring bikes. Prior you had to buy the entire cooler fan assembly.
I've added the oil cooler fan to M8 tourers and have one stock on my 2019 FLHTP. I can verify they pull a lot of heat off the cooler. Good air movement, operation controlled be the engine ECM so the fan is only on when needed.

You could purchase just the fan and shroud, cut the tabs off the cooler and reuse. There is a post floating around here showing how to do it.

Definitely not; none of the Softail M8s have oil cooler fans.

NONE of the oil cooled M8 bikes come stock with oil cooler fans, including M8 police FLHTP's and FLHP's...
