Yeah the only difference I can tell between the redline synthetic and belray conventional is the belray stays exactly where its supposed to and the redline was all over the dipstick and in the crank. I have no clue why that is but for whatever reason it has sworn me off from synthetic in this current 128, plus the pros with WAY more knowledge than me recommend conventional so Im good with that.
If mine sumps on this venture, I still have 6 quarts of Belray at home

We came back a day early, to avoid the oncoming heat onslaught. Supposed to be 116 on Tuesday.
Did 1940 miles, and it appears to have burned 1/3 of a quart. Checked it hot on my garage floor like I always do. I will stick with the Lucas for now.
My buddy has the FM 128 as well, he burned 1 quart of the HD synthetic
Quik, one thing that I did notice, was how noisy the compensator now is at an idle when the engine is smoking hot. With lopey cams like you and I have, it really seems to pound on the comp at idle, and is very loud when the engine is hot.
I am getting my Evo Industries clutch basket on order, so that I can get that CR comp installed.
