Truly strange why some do and some don't.
yes sir, it’s weird for sure. Unless another member of FM chimes in and says otherwise I’m gonna go with what their guy told me the other day about 8-10 ounces being ok

My own personal experience from the 4 M8 bikes I have owned and several cam swaps on bikes running without issues, I always find no measurable amount of oil when the Crank Sensor is pulled and 8-10 ounces comes out of the cam chest when that cover is removed. I find it curious that the amounts FM stated (8-10 ounces) were identical to mine but from different compartments. I can only question if there was a communication error when they addressed your question.

it’s possible I guess but he clearly knew I was talking about the CPS because he laughed and said the majority of people don’t even know where the CPS is. Also he knew my cam chest was not opened up so I would assume he knew I couldn’t measure anything from there. But then again, who knows LoL

@Quik I have had a couple bikes to Fuel Moto and had I known they did the build prior to my above comment, I might have not mentioned it. The guys at Fuel Moto are pretty particular and on the ball.. I have no other suggestions. Good Luck my friend, hope it all works out in the end.

Thank you sir, I’m sure it will all be ok, this is first world problems so I try to keep the complaining to a minimum!

Finally got my order in, gonna take it out for a ride and get it nice and warm then dump all the fluids. All conventional fluids going back in.

Got all the fluids changed and as I expected the top end of the engine is a little quieter with the conventional oil so no surprise there. I must say I do like how the transmission feels with the Bel Ray 85/140 tranny oil over the Redline. Not that the Redline tranny oil was bad by any means but things feel a little smoother and quieter with the Bel Ray. Off for a couple of days so I’m gonna roll up some miles and keep an eye on things.

It’s still early but since the change back to conventional the oil level has not moved on the stick and I have not been babying it!

.
I know when I was using the HD Synthetic my oil foamed and fluctuated, Amsoil does not!
