Default M8 107 Noise at idle

My 2019 makes a noise that sounds like an old washing machine at idle 950 rpm that disappears when I get above 1000 rpm.
Anyone know what that is and how to fix it besides raising the idle?

Washing machine? Is the noise from the cam chest area or primary? Lifter issues can cause a tapping noise at idle. Had a cam tensioner issue on my 17 that sounded sounded aweful during initial startup.
A better description or video would help.

Next to Oil Threads, diagnosing engine noises over the internet is the biggest waste of time. You will be way ahead if you have someone familiar with these engines take a listen.

That's from the cam chest area on the m8 models. I don't know what causes it but seems they all have it. I have noticed that some are much louder than others.

100 year old design, they make a shitload of noise, I just ride fast and all the noises blend in.

Thanks, one dealer tells me it's normal, another says it's not normal.
