Default Stage 2 worth it?

I have a 19 limited, 114 stage 1 with a bassani head pipe se A/C, cannon slip ons and smart tune.
I ride single and two up, split about 50/50. Shift about 3500 rpm.
Is the torque cam going to be noticable difference for the 1000 or so dollar cost

Cam swap is the single best bang-for-your-buck upgrade you can do.

If you want truly stellar results, go with an aftermarket cam, not the anemic HD torque cam, and a PowerVision tuner. You will have zero regrets.

IMO, unless you plan to load that touring bike down & take numerous mountain treks, not really needed. Netter ways to spend $1K, but it's your bike/money so...only you can decide.

how much do you both weigh is another unmentioned factor...needs may change if together you're 350 or 500 and also how much of your 50/50 two up is loaded down for out of town trips..shifting around 3500 on average is pretty normal but you should be winding it up more than that often as well to get the use out of the power you have paid for and also to help keep the engine burning cleaner..it can handle it, it's designed to safely wind up to 5500 but in stock or stage 1 they really have given their best by 4500 and beyond that just sucks more gas and increases wear and tear

There is nothing at all wrong with the H-D torque cam.
You will notice a major difference.
If you are strictly after dyno sheets then there may be something that prints a prettier line but if you just want to ride and still have your warranty, the torque cam is great.

U are correct, there is nothing wrong with the HD torque cam, but the only reason to put the HD in over aftermarket, would be to keep warranty.

well, that obviously but the SE may only need the ecm recalibration with SEPST to perform spot on whereas aftermarket cams may be finicky with tuning and require dyno tuning sessions to get dialed in and more finicky depending on exhaust, intake, etc....to many the extra time, expense and fussing with autotuning and dyno tuning is well worth getting the extra power..others may be perfectly happy with a simple 'less is more' approach

IMHO the stage 2 is the best performance upgrade for the money. I've thought about spending the bucks, but I'm happy with my 114 just as it is. Now, if I could only find the right set of wheels.

Short answer is Yes, a cam upgrade is a very noticeable gain in power. To upgrade or not is a personal decision, if you feel your bike is under powered, start adding power boosters till you're happy. I ran a stage III on my 17 Road Glide, full Aftermarket stage II on my 18. I'm on a 2020 Road Glide Special now and love the bike with just pipes. I don't miss my old bikes at all...
