I have the 107, and had the HD torque cam installed. It made a huge difference. Before it felt like the torque fell off to early. Now it keeps pulling hard. Was very helpful riding 2 up loaded with luggage on recent Colorado trip. I highly recommend. And no bad side effects. MOG did not change, and it doesn’t run hot. I highly recommend it.

Edit: oh yeah, the torque cam gave the exhaust a deeper sound, and a mild lope.

Stage 1 does not do much for a M8. Even with a tune. A stage 2 with tune will make it come alive. Is it necessary with a 114? Only you and your pocket book know . If you do the cam go aftermarket. And do the lifters at the same time. No short cuts.
2019 If you are not sure it has the newest Oil pump that is a much bigger concern

I agree a aftermarket cam gives better performance than the SE torque cam. But an other reason to go with the SE torque cam is it will place less strain on engine and drivetrain components IE having less lift you place less strain on valve springs ect. That is assuming you leave everything thing else stock.

I'm happy with mine, not sure how quick a Slim S is with a 110 but I smoked one bad with my 107.

Had harley torque cam in my 107 it was better, not hugely better but noticeable . In my 114 I put in a woods 22x its as mild mannered at slow speeds as stock but it has a real punch to it and its especially noticeable difference 2 up on a RG. If your looking for something right off idle thru 4k its a great cam imo

Definitely worth the money. Best bang for the buck is non SE cam and aftermarket tuner.

Unhappy

I just got back from dealership. I had the stage 1, SE ventilator extreme, pro street tuner and stage 2 SE torque cam done during my 1000 mile service. I already replaced the slip ons with cheap Sharkroad 4.5", just for sound.

I spent $2000 and the bike rides exactly the same. Maybe 10% more power in 1st and 2nd, but nothing after that.

I called dealership to ask about maybe a bad tune? They said its due to EPA, CAT, stock header, etc. This will be last new Harley I buy. $30k bike that makes you wait 2 years (warranty) to add after market parts that are better than OEM, so it will sound and ride like it should from the factory.

“makes you wait”? They don’t make you do anything

they "make" you choose to void an already crap warranty if you use superior parts. C'mon dude, take the trolling to facebook.
