Default Jim's M8 inner cam bearing tool.

Does anybody within a 75 mile radius of Toledo Ohio have a Jim's M8 inner cam bearing removal and installation tool # 5806-1 that they would like to rent out. I will be willing to drive to pick up and return the tool. I would only need to have the tool a couple of days. Thanks

You'd drive 75 miles one way to rent a tool you can buy and have delivered to you for 80 bucks?

eBay prices I've seen fluctuate from $105 to $129. Can use the kit then sell it here for $80 probably. I have a new kit in Cleveland but to pick up and return when done is 450 miles, too bad I just missed you at Ray'z who didn't have fresh Perch last Friday. Look for this Kit:

Is that tool made by Jim's? You don't live 225 miles from Toledo. Do you ? How can they not have perch just cast a line from their front deck.

I have the FM tool and will vouch for it. I've done two bikes using it and it works great.

if you drove 75 miles each way that's 150 round trip. Then you gotta get it back to the person by either driving it there or sending UPS. You will have $125-$160 wrapped up into the tool rental when you can buy one from FM for $118 and own it forever. trust me, the M8 isn't going anywhere, this motor will be the standard for the next 10 years easy.

I'm very curious what you think would be a fair price to "rent" that tool too. You must be in the $5 - $10 range or something else ridiculous. if I was to rent someone a tool, I'd charge them whatever the tool cost me to have delivered to my house. Upon return of the tool as long as it's not f**** up I'd charge them $50.00 just for my time. Time is money and I don't have a lot of spare time.
