I installed those TPMS on the wheels on my 2018 FLHXS. I then used DIAG4BIKE to assign each front and rear TPMS to the BCM of my bike. I then used the DIAG4BIKE to unlock the feature on my upgraded GTS infotainment system. Everything has been working excellent. The pressures even display on my Dakota Digital Speedometer.
Is this DIAG4BIKE something the dealer(s) would have?
No it’s an aftermarket program that works like HD DigiTech.
if you live in California (Central California) I would be happy to try it for you.
Thank you for the info and offer. I'm in the high desert of SoCal. I'm going to call the service rep with the info craigffb gave me and see if that makes sense to him. If it does, I'll jump on the bike and ride there to get it handled. If not, I may get a hold of you. Fresno is about 250 miles from here. Could end up being a good day ride through Tehachapi and back!!
Never heard back from the dealer today so I will be at their door when they open in the morning. I printed out this thread and will take it with me so they can hopefully be able to get it figured out. I won't be available this next week so I want to get it working.
So I go back to the dealer this morning armed with the info you guys have given me. The tech tells me he did all that and would do it again. He let me in the shop while he did it and I watched him activate the system,.read the sensors and enable the TPMS system. Again it will not read on the screen. IMO he is missing something but not knowing how it all works I have to take his word for it. Any other ideas?
There should be a menu in the radio customization in HD digital tech that they can turn on or off the TPMS icon in the GTS radio. Here’s a video on DIag4bike where you turn TPMS on or off in the GTS Radio.
