Default Who has a weird idle on their M8???

Mine has always idled weird. When I am coming to a stop it idles up a little till stopped. After turning engine off for a few minutes it will idle up when I take off. It's not the EITMS, I know what that sounds like. I have checked for intake leaks and there doesn't seem to be any. I have read where others have had issues, so thought I would ask here for a fix if any.
Thanks
SR

Try this:

To reset your idle setting back turn the ignition switch on for 10 seconds off for 10 seconds (do not start the engine), repeat a total of 4 times. That should reset your original throttle position. The tech who was working on your bike may have shut it off with the kill switch while it was idling a little high.

Other than that you may want to check all your throttle by wire connections.

What you describe can be caused by a faulty clutch switch. Will your bike start in gear with the clutch lever pulled?

my 2017 oil cooled 107 idle behaved erratically on occasion but now with almost 6000 miles in 7 months my 2020 oil cooled 114 has yet to exhibit that

Mine started doing the same thing after about five thousand miles. I ordered the Aluminum Intake Manifold because I think the plastic one is Warped. I'll let you know after I get it installed if it's fixed it. Prefer to to have a metal intake anyway.

As I recall, mine would start in gear sometimes, and not other times, until I had the clutch switchpack replaced under warranty. Therefore, it is possible that a bad clutch switch is the culprit, even if it doesn't prevent the bike from starting.
