Who has a weird idle on their M8???
Mine has always idled weird. When I am coming to a stop it idles up a little till stopped. After turning engine off for a few minutes it will idle up when I take off. It's not the EITMS, I know what that sounds like. I have checked for intake leaks and there doesn't seem to be any. I have read where others have had issues, so thought I would ask here for a fix if any.
Thanks

To reset your idle setting back turn the ignition switch on for 10 seconds off for 10 seconds (do not start the engine), repeat a total of 4 times. That should reset your original throttle position. The tech who was working on your bike may have shut it off with the kill switch while it was idling a little high.
Other than that you may want to check all your throttle by wire connections.

Try this:

As I recall, mine would start in gear sometimes, and not other times, until I had the clutch switchpack replaced under warranty. Therefore, it is possible that a bad clutch switch is the culprit, even if it doesn't prevent the bike from starting.
