Question for those that have purchased or installed their air cleaner kit. I found some-one on the market place selling their brand new air cleaner kit. The say they purchased it for their 2019 Street glide but decided to go another direction. They say it included Everything in this pic when they bought and it came with no backing plate. I assume they’re wrong but just want to make sure that the fuel Moto kit doesn’t use the stock backing plate.

According to the Fuel Moto site it comes with a backing plate, check it out.

I would not think so, other wise why would they give you one. How you gonna attach it without one? I know for sure you can not use the stock one, only the out side cover.

I'm installing my cams over the next week or two, I'm told I need an after market Air cleaner. i was trying to get one on the cheap as I got laid-off last week. I'll pass on this one and continue to look.

Could always put a K&N air filter element in it to get more air flow.

 

I ended up buying the kit from the fuel moto site this morning. Thanks for the input every one.
