Default Sumping, Transfer, Breather..........

I have an 18" Fat Boy 114. It has 2600 miles on it.
I know this has been discussed many times, But, what and how should I look for to see if my M8 is experiencing any of these symptoms?
I read the softails don't have this issue, the touring bikes do.......
Thanks!

Four Step process for you to follow

Step 1: Don't worry about any of that
Steps 2- 4: Refer to Step 1

Exactly. Optional Step 5: Read the "many discussed" items aforementioned.

Step 4.5: DO NOT follow Step 5! it will ensure you believe you have those problems..congrats on your new bike..now get out and continue to spend your time riding and enjoying it rather than looking for problems you don't have!!!! matter of fact, close your user account here, kill it with fire and run away! it's too late for us..save yourself!

Uncap your derby cover,,, if the Primary Oil hits your boots,,, you'll see you have the Trans Migration... If you just pull the drain plugs first,,, you'll never know,,, just like the Dealers.

Softails don't transfer and very few have ever sumped. The breather thing happens to some, been going on with Harley for decades. Now go ride.

1 - Transfer cannot happen on a Softail.
2 - Sumping can happen, but doesn't. It's exceptionally rare on the Softails.
3 - Breather puking -- the owner's manual addresses that. If the oil level is too high, it pukes, so lower the oil level. Most of us with no issues run at an oil level halfway between the full and add qt line.

So, in short, don't worry about any of that, like the others said just ride.
