A bit surprised by the smartass replies here, insulting others technical abilities . I intended to thank those who had shared their experiences in order to inform others.
It’s no big deal for me to pull the tank, but it may be for some. It isn’t really necessary to insult others. Try using all your “wisdom” to help others. Try making the community a better place to enjoy helping. 🤨

It`s just a fuel tank on a motorcycle, and removing a modern HD fuel tank is a very simple process.

Just 3 recommendations:
1) Make sure fuel level is as low as possible before tank removal.
2) Be careful with the paint. Use towels or blankets to protect parts.
3) To prevent dirt and small rocks from falling into the cylinders, use a fine tipped vacuum and thoroughly clean around the upper spark plugs before removal.... or use compressed air.

Purge the fuel line after pulling the fuel pump fuse.

There isn't a fuel pump fuse on the M8. Fuel pump power comes from the BCM. Cut power to the BCM, and the engine can't be started to purge the fuel supply line.
Step One. Disconnect fuel pump from main wiring harness. Run the engine until it stalls. Operate the starter an additional 3 seconds after the engine stalls to remove remaining fuel from fuel supply line.
