I'm doing a 128 on my 19 SGS and want to use the newest oil pump but not sure what all is needed.
Does part# 62400247 include complete pump for air cooled? And does it require a new cam plate?

 

Yes, its complete pump with Back Plate and Seal. You will need cam cover gskt, pump o- ring and cam plate o-ring. Good idea to get a retention kit ( sprocket bolts ). A new cam plate is not required but are inexpensive. You may need to change the cam sprocket spacer so pick that kit up as well.

 

Just to add...like sixguns said above...62400247 is for air/oil cooled motors and includes part numbers: 62400126 (Feed Gerotor Assy); 62400238 (oil pump assy, air/oil cooled); 62400245 (Cover oil pump assy)...

62400248 is the kit for the twin cooled motors and includes: 62400055, 62400242 & 62400245 respectively...

 

Is the cam plate different in anyway? Mine only has 2500 miles on it so can't imagine it has any wear on it. But if it is new and improved in someway?

Part numbers by chance for retention kit, cam plate, and sprocket spacer kit?

I have gaskets and o-rings.
