M8 Stage 1 Jumping to Stage 3

Well, they should have researched. My 2019 Low Rider was at 110 ft lbs at 2500 RPMs and broke 120 at 3500 with that kit... Not quite 6K lol.

Not sure of the point you’re trying to make, but I’m more then happy with the performance of my bikes and not needing to wind them up to high RPMs to move fast. I couldn’t care less peak HP numbers. I want to make lots of torque. And mine does.
My LRS is putting down 129ftLbs at 2900 where it’s only making 65hp. With that, it’s way fast enough for me... I’m not chasing HP numbers. This isn’t a ricer, it’s a Harley.

Hi All:
I have a 2017 road king with stage 1. I am planning to upgrade to stage 3. My dealership has told me that I can simply purchase a stage 3 kit instead of both stage 2 and 3. Is that normal? If I listen to the parts staff and only purchase a stage 3, does it make my bike miss stage 2 (torque/power upgrade)?
Does anyone have experience with this type of upgrade- straight from stage 1 to 3?
Best to you all!

You don't have to, or want to, go to Stage 2 before you can go to Stage 3. That would be an extreme waste of money.
If you've already got Stage 1 installed, you'll keep all those parts.
Stage 2 replaces the stock camshaft with a higher-performance Stage 2 camshaft.
Stage 3 replaces whatever camshaft you have with a Stage 3 camshaft, and also adds bigger-bore cylinders.
So yes, you can simply buy a Stage 3 kit instead of having to go to Stage 2 first.
