Power Cones on M8?
Can anyone enlighten me on using power cones (also heard them called torque tube inserts) on a M8? I am looking for an "anti-reversion" device. My understanding is that these are dropped into the top of the head pipe.
Sooo...do they fit? Do they work? Has anybody used them?

If you were running drag pipes maybe but on bike with a catalytic converter don't bother.

Well, I currently HAVE the cat but am thinking of changing the head pipe to a NON-cat type, hence the question.

Not enough gain on a stock or near stock motor to make the expenditure and dicking around trying to tuning them with FI worth it.

Crappy exhaust systems can be somewhat saved by using torque cones.

Yes, I know... but what I DONT know is if they are made to fit an M8 exhaust system, and how they work on a twin exhaust valve (per cylinder) motor.

I am also curious:
I was unaware of this until very recently, but I thought I read that they can also be installed in the MUFFLER (as opposed to in the HEADPIPE)
True?
