Extended Warranty Question?

all depends on the incident. if you save $2000 for your own 'warranty' and you get a flat tire, then you've come out ahead by a good margin. however, if you have a lifter explode, sending garbage throughout your entire engine and require a major rebuild, then you're gonna be short about 3 grand on your warranty.

you pays your money and you takes your chances.

i can tell you this. i don't normally buy the extended warranties. but i did on my cvo 110 due to the prolific lifter failure (and ended up not using it due to some ******* totaling my bike) and i did purchase it on the 2 road glide specials i just bought. honestly, if i end up not having to use them, i'd be happy as a pig in s.....

both our bikes are paid for and that's how we feel since we rack up lots of miles and plan on keeping them through the 5 years ESP..had the cash so it's gone and not missed now and paid forward if needed...different scenarios and circumstances for most so there's no right or wrong way to go
