Default Vibration at 1500 rpm

My bike has a vibration at 1500 RPM. If I hold the throttle there it vibrates, if I rev the bike in neutral it vibrates. As I ride I can feel it when I'm accelerating or decelerating. Does everyone have this or is it just me? Stock bike just slip ons right now. I'll be getting power vision and intake soon. I've already checked the exhaust and replaced the clamps just to eliminate that as a cause.

Why are you trying to ride at that low RPM? Compensators don't live long riding at the low RPM.

I’m not riding at 1500 RPM. As I accelerate from a stand still and the motor hits 1500 rpm on its climb to higher rpm there is a vibration. Decelerating same vibration at 1500rpm. I can also replicate the vibration if I hold the throttle at 1500 rpm at a stand still or while rolling with the clutch pulled in.

The issue is exactly how I typed it. I don’t know any one who would ride at 1500rpm for any length of time

Has the bike always done this? How many miles are on the bike?

7500 miles. I’ve always suspected it not being as smooth as people claim the M8 to be. Had it in a few times for service and other little issues but everytime they said it was “ok” I had a pretty nasty vibration recently after the clutch recall. I bought new clamps and rechecked the exhaust and got rid of the vibration except for around 1500rpm but I don’t believe it to be exhaust related.

I was not impressed with the dealer after recall was done. Bike had hand prints all over the exhaust and bags, highway peg was moved back on the bar as if it got pushed in from hitting something but that’s another story.

my twin cam shook like a paint mixer but revved smooth once off idle, my bike has a vibration you can feel through the bars, seat, boards you name it. Again not riding the bike at 1500 rpm. As the motor climbs through the RPM range wether it is up or down once it hits 1500 it’s a nasty vibration throughout the bike. I am merely curious if all M8 touring bikes have this issue.
