Those with a oil pressure guage
Got my Jerzee oil pressure gauge all hooked up and finally got a extended ride in yesterday. And got everything up to full temp. My question is what kind of pressure are you guys running at idle at full temp? I am running around 12 lbs and wondering if that's cool or low.

For a TC that would be perfect since you do not want oil injectors working at idle. Pretty sure M8 carried over them for the underside of the piston cavity.
Thought is short term, engine can take the heat better at brief idle then cooking the oil.

I am using a Digital Dakota oil pressure and oil temp gauge,
Oil pressure on my 2018 CVO has never been below 15psi and temp has never exceeded 200 degrees.
That said, oil pressure and temp are both picked up from the oil filter mount area.
My bike also has the oil cooler fan on it, I also run one of the re-usable billet oil filters, those are reported to slightly help with cooling.

My ‘03 Ultra had pretty low oil pressure at idle, but it went up to 15-20 at idle after the SE cam chain tensioner and oil pump upgrade. My ‘12 has about 15 at idle, but it varies.
I know this is an old thread, but people still wonder what’s normal for oil pressure. So it’s a worthwhile thread to resurrect.
