Don’t believe all these posters, most of them don’t own a Harley. Go find someone that owns one, go talk to people at the dealer. I have a 2017 with 15K miles ride it every single day in NY, not one issue. I have 3 buddies all with the same bike, 2017 Road Glide all of them 15K miles plus NO ISSUES. Most of these guys ride 500 miles a year yet they have all these problems. Bullshit

I got my 2019 Road King back today. lt looks and runs as good as new.

My compliments to Buckmins HD in Xenia, Ohio for the engine replacement.

I believe I'll roll the dice and keep my May 22nd appointment at Fuelmoto for their 124" upgrade kit install and dyno tune.

My Guess would have to be your one of those guys that do not own a Harley let alone ride one. After HD has admitted the problems, put our several versions of a Service Bulletin on it, made about 9 versions of an oil pump trying to solve it and a Oil Pump Seal plate so far and rumors of yet another new Oil pump coming, YEP, no one has an issue, It's all made up BS.

Why do you say that?

I ask because the Street was built in India and Kansas City, and they closed the Kansas City plant, so are they importing Indian-made bikes to sell as Streets now? Guess I could check a VIN next time I'm at a dealer...

Consider that half the M8s out there are Softails and are immune from transmission transfer.

Transmission transfer is not an M8 issue, it is a touring bike issue.

So you're coming on this forum and calling MOST of us liars. That's pretty rich when you turn around and say you ride every single day in NY, which I assume stands for New York. The weather in New York would make riding every day almost physically impossible. So you're either a liar or stupid.

Actually, it is a hydraulically actuated clutch issue. If they were to put the hydraulic clutches of the same design on the Softails they to would have the problem.

I do my biggest problem is when I get a big chunk saved up to do some major work to my scoot I end up buying another bike. Money spent in upgrades is money lost, buying another bike and buying it right could mean a free bike for 2 or 3 years.
