Cobra Neighbor Haters
2019 RGU
Stock air cleaner, header and tune
So I got them installed last night. They look and sound awesome. I’m not gonna lie though, they drone a little on the highway. I rode to work this morning and it does drown out the stereo a little. Time will tell if they mellow out, I get used to it or I hate it. If the wife doesn’t like it they’re gone lol

Here you go. Cold start after work with freeway noise in background. They sound a little deeper in person.
BTW, that’s a Cycle Shell cover. Had it a few years. Love it!

For me it depends on the helmet, 2017 FLHTKSE with cams and Neighbor Haters. With a half helmet, with or without earplugs, I don't get any drone and can hear the music just fine. Using a 3/4 helmet with a face shield there is some droning but I can still hear the music after I turn it up a little farther than normal.
And, they do get a little louder with time. Seems like they perked up around 1,000 miles.

Unfortunately you can’t hear the drone with my iPhone. But trust me, it’s there. It drowns out my music on the highway. I absolutely love the sound of these pipes. I think they are the best sounding in person on the M8. But I like listening to music too so it’s a trade off. I’ll have to decide which is more important to me, and the wife. She hasn’t been on it with the pipes yet.

I mostly wear a half helmet. This is my first Ultra so I wonder if the tour pak blocks some of the wind that would sweep some of the sound away. The pipes are also shorter than most because there’s no tips. Upgrading the stereo is always an option. I was happy with Hogtunes on my last bike.
