Eddie Tranholm asked if the chin spoiler of the kit will fit on a 2016 (Twin Cam) without modifications. And in my opinion it will not!

It will surely fit on an 2017+ (M8)! That is what I wanted to say with my post!

I drove my Bike with the spoiler kit an without crashbar for 6000 Miles. Including longer Rides on the Autobahn with 100mph+. This worked without problems….

I would like to keep the stock RGS crash bar to use my soft lowers when it rains...I see one guy did it here, has anyone else? Any issues?

I see here it's at least possible.

Can someone that owns a fairing spoiler post a picture or explain how exactly its mounted, and why so many people say using the stock bar is impossible?
I haven't seen one in person so any more detailed pictures would be useful.
Thank you!

i like that set up looks nice but i also like my soft lowers and a larger front crash bar, i just bought the HD 1/2 chin spoiler off the 2019 CVO, it covers both rads and warps around looks nice.

Man, it looks like it fits fine with the stock crash bar pictured above. Expensive gamble to take, but I might have to if this guy wont answer lol.
EDIT: after zooming in and looking closely compared to my stock setup, it looks like he mightve added some sort of bracket to the top of the stock crash bar to push it out away from the frame. Mine looks like it attaches right up against the frame, where his looks closer to the fender.

i think you might be right. looks like a mount was fabricated, and the crash bar seems to have a more vertical stance than stock.

Exactly what I was thinking, and those side by side pics prove it. I dont know how hes turning or not snagging his brake lines lol.
Bummer, looks like I'll have to go with the chopped guard or skip this piece all together...hmmm...

Keep going back and forth on this. Love the look, but not the cost...
Also, one of my main concerns as I mentioned before was losing my soft lowers with the stock crash bar...looks like this company makes them for the chopped guard just FYI if anyone else is wondering. I'm sure it doesnt do as much as the big one but itd at least keep the feet dry I guess.
