No dealer can void your warranty. Only Harley can do that.

 

True, but I think the point was....and the fact remains..if I dealer tells you your warranty will be voided with slip ons......find another dealer.

I agree that different dealers will give different answers. I was also told that my EPA-compliant, 50-state-legal S&S Grand Nationals slip-ons would result in a voided warranty by a dealer in Austin (don't remember which one). I tried to explain patiently that my pipes were 100% legal, and he said "Harley don't care, if it's not Harley, it's voided, and they make us send in a picture of the exhaust before we can get warranty work approval."

So it's entirely possible it's not a troll post at all, maybe he was legitimately told that by a dealer. I sure was; and yes, I got the hell out of there as quick as I could.
