I have an 18 cvo and quite impressed with the stock 117. Definitely has some get up and go. Couldn’t stand the stock cans either so I put some svt boneshakers on it. Great sound and still radio friendly at speed.

MMATS69 were you able to use the stock muffler shield with the Bone Shaker?

Yes. There’s a small gap but hardly noticeable.

Cat is in Header pipe immediately before it splits and goes into two pipes. Put new V & H mufflers on and sound is much better. Wanted to remove cat, but looked into many posts and HD will void warranty if Cat is removed. Warranty can and sometimes is void if you bring your bike in for warranty service without original mufflers. NOTE...Remove after market muffles and replace with original before taking your bike in for warranty service. Only takes an hour or less, but could save you thousands of dollars depending on what needs attention. As soon as warranty is up, Cat is gone.

If you have a dealer that will void you for slip ons, you need to find a new dealer asap!
