Default Wolo hookup on softail

I have the shop manual but not the electrical diagnostics manual. A couple of questions I have before I go out and buy a wolo horn:

Is the stock horn relayed?

I think I can use the factory mount for the horn on my Fat Boy for a wolo (619). If so I can reuse the two connectors there, possibly having to lengthen them first. but I don't want to do so unless there is a relay between those connectors and the 12v power source. The red/violet wire runs to the BCM but the shop manual doesn't show me anything beyond that.

Will there be an issue with the CanBus if I replace the factory horn with a wolo? Or will I need to leave it in place and find another mounting location, tap into accessory power (or straight from the battery), and put a relay between that source and the horn?

Thanks

Canbus won't care. I have a WOLO on my bike.

The stock horn is NOT relayed. I used a relay I placed near the battery and used the stock horn hot lead to toggle that relay.

The electrical diagrams are free to look at on HD's owners site. Same place you can look at your manuals using your VIN.

Thanks Absoc, it looks like those are the same schematics I have in the shop manual. I can trace the horn hot wire back to the BCM but no further, and as you mentioned no relay is shown.

There aren't a lot of mounting options on my FB. Best I could come up with is to put it where the stock horn is located, but outside of the frame as opposed to the stock horn which is inside. I guess I if I do that I'll have to attached a relay and run a wire from under the seat then under the tank to that location.

I just plugged in my Wolo horn with the stock connector. It took a little fiddling, but I didn't have to lengthen any wires. I used a piece of flat stock to mount the horn, bent it a little bit to tuck the horn in and it works fine. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.
