Has left me on the side of the road and at one dealer already. No power coughing and spitting the whole time. Bike is super hot and smells of fuel and burnt oil, The dealer says nothing is wrong because they havnt got it to sump. I’m over the games paid good money for this so called big bad *** 117 when a sportster can run circles around me. The Stage 2 kit was done at the dealer before I purchased the bike with sac header, rinehart pipes, 550g cam, adjustable push rods and power vision running. They had originally told me that I wasn’t riding the bike how the cam was designed to used, I couldn’t believe that so I took the flash drive to another Harley tuner and couldn’t believe the big drop in the power curve between 1500rpm and 3000rpms. Took the bike on a 60 mile ride from fort Walton beach to Panama City and went through two tanks of gas and barley made it. Limped it in and ended up having to have it towed to the original dealer. Been arguing with the dealer for a week now, was finally able to get a print out of the RO to see what all they had changed and swapped. To my surprise most was documented well except for not doing the heavy duty valve train and the dyno tune was literally an hour and they called it good. When I asked why they chose the 550g over the SE515, I got the answer that person X likes the way that cam pulls in these bikes. Overall I’m not impressed with how the bike performs, rides well, but doesn’t run like a big twin, **** it doesn’t even run like an 883.

Update as if today is that there is now a Tech Bulliten our for possible sumping, but none of the service guys are aware of what the fix or when the parts will be available. I’m almost to the point where I want my 2014 back or considering FL Lemon Law to get a full refund .......

anyone else with these issues? Find a fix yet?
your dealership installed an aftermarket tuner on a brand new Harley they sold you? if that's the case, they really thumbed their nose at the Motor Company stated rules , fines and other penalties...

Me too, I was blown away when they didn’t push the screaming eagle tuner, Before I traded my 2014 in I brought it in to see if I could get a fresh tune because I just moved out from Vegas and wasn’t tuned for sea level with all the mountain riding I had been doing. The second I pulled out the ol orange SE Tuner he stopped me and said we only do Power Vision here. When I asked about what they were using on their new bikes he replied power vision is the only way to go. Normally I hate paying the extra green for the SE Brand, but Big Harley won’t put up a fuss with warranty when you utilize it. Like I mentioned I have been pretty activated looking like some young guy with buyers remorse or some kid that doesn’t know it takes air, spark and fuel working together for happiness. It’s so hard not to loose your cool when the “ How long have you been riding” or “is this your first twin” questions start coming....

Well the plain hard cold fact is that claiming ignorance isn’t an excuse, or knowing them and proceeding to go forward is an enter at your own risk affair. Helluva’ bad thing to happen on a $40000 + vehicle

Lol, So true. Meanwhile, I've been riding most of the afternoon. Just shy of 300 miles so far, with another 100 to get home. Hope my perfectly running m8 doesnt lleave me stranded.

me too, 2 years 26,300 miles and leaving for a 1500 mile Idaho road trip next week, hasn't broken down or left me stranded, delayed or ruined vacation plans, etc. etc..I should probably cancel my trip next week because I've been flying too close to the Sun for too long now..same story with the dozen or so M8 owners I ride with in our Chapter...but sure our little sample is obviously the exception and not the rule so guess we're just a lucky bunch
