whatever you get, get the special.
If you like the blacked out look, get a '19.
If you like chrome, get a '18, or a '17 for that matter. Save a few thousand.
Seven cubic inches is not going to make that much difference, and you can always do a stage whatever kit if you must.
From what i have read, the new infotainment system is not much of an improvement.
The oem shocks on all of them are pos.

No one can answer this question but the OP. It all boils down to how much of a deal he can get on either one and if he can live with either deal. The 19's did get a price increase over the 18's and you wont find too many deals on the 19's. The dealerships will be trying to get rid of all the leftover 18s. My dealer has a TON of 18's left and only a handful of 19's.

I have had my 18 RGS almost a yr.Great Bike Like it a lot more than my Previous Street Glides.Ihave 3500 trouble free miles 107 runs great.If you can get a good deal on a 18 get it,My dealer has a lot of 18s all colors.The big changes are coming in 2020 Mono Shock Frame,First major change since 09.Hopefully the new Frame will ride an handle better.

A couple of guys I ride with moved from Limiteds to Road Glides, 2017 & 2018 models. They love their bikes. Only complaint both have is the location/angle of the infotainment screen causes a glare making it very difficult to see on sunny days. So, I am wondering if the new radio everyone is mentioning was re-positioned or not?

I went with the 18 RGS a few weeks before the 19s came out. From what i have heard and read the 114 isnt that much of a difference over the 107. I have rode the 114 in the softail and they felt a little stronger than the 107 but when you get to the heavier touring frames it wont matter. The 18s will have great discounts from dealers and lower finance rates going on now. Best thing to do is ride them yourself and choose what deal you can live with.
