Whatever you call it, the new Jiffy Stands sure seem flimsy compared to pre-M8 bikes. At least that is how I see it with the Heritage.

I don't trust it.

You're not alone. There's a thread in here somewhere specific to Heritage jiffy stand concerns. I've got 'em with my Low Rider. I laid it down once in the garage, luckily it went slow and not a mark on it. I must have looked like a monkey f'ing a football when I realized as I leaned it over that it wasn't gonna stop. I've gotten in the habit of resting the toe of my boot against it before leaning the bike over. I think it's sturdy enough, just that the design is different and it's not as long as the earlier bikes. I never had a problem / concern with the other 4 I've had.

I backed my bike out this last fall and was gonna let it warm up a few minutes. I put the stand down and got off the bike. Started walking back toward the garage to grab my lid and **** the garage door and heard the bike fall over.

No damage but I didn't trust it for awhile myself. I kick it out with my boot and turn the bars all the way to the left. Not sure I had it fully extended that morning as the bike was only a week old.

The jiffy stand on my 2018 RGU is identical to the one that was on my 2016.

Mine is the same on my 2017 as my 2014. And I dare say it’s actually better than my 96 softail was

I think it's specific to the Softtails with the new frame.

The touring bikes still have the jiffy stand, softails have a funky one...
