Default Clutch cylinder just failed 2018 RGS

I'm leaving Wednesday on a trip to Florida and this happens on Sunday. Unbelievable. Bike has 7000 miles.Have not had one issue, yet.
Now I am wondering if I should go on this trip, if they can even get the bike fixed.

Any other clutch issues out there?

Really makes me wonder if I should sell this and get that 2016 Low Rider S I have been thinking about. Was considering the LRS before I picked up the RGS, just couldn't find a 2016.

Which cylinder failed? Master or slave? And how did it show up? I've got a new 2018 RGU with 6k miles. Wanting to keep an eye on possibilities.

Never had any issue like that, but I always shift to neutral to start the bike. Have you noticed any issues with the clutch while riding?

Hmmm. Sounds like the issue that caused the recall on the 2016s.

Does the clutch lever have the same pull? Or did it change in some way, as to how much muscle it takes to pull the lever.

I kinda had a failure. My clutch has always been hard to pull, and I was sure it was the actuator and not the actual master cylinder.
Regardless, over the last two years it started to develop a little binding so I had it looked at last week. They replaced the Master Cylinder. Now it's SUPER easy to pull and no longer binds. Pretty happy with it now...

The tech told me it's the clutch actuator, a seal in there failed. They're going to replace the seal and actuator and change trans fluid. He said it should be ready to go soon.

The dealer fixed it, not sure why it happened. At least it's back on the road.
