Surprised myself!!
So the wife and I took a 2 1/2 hr jaunt up the road this morning to look at a 2017 limited w/10K on the clock. When we got there, the bike was pretty dirty, and I just didn’t love the grey/black denim paint scheme...sigh!!
It turns out the wife didn’t like the colors either. She suggested I look at the silver/black 2018 Limited that was sitting in the showroom instead.
Twenty minutes of negotiation and and hour and a half of swapping stories about the good ‘ol days,, and it was ready to bring home. Steve, the General Manager and the folks on the floor worked hard to get down to my price, and they did!
In way too many years of buying, breaking, and wrenching on Harleys, my experience at HD of Waco, TX was by far the best overall experience I have ever had since Harley foisted the new “boutique” stores on us.
As a rule, I distrust and avoid people, salespeople especially, but it was all very enjoyable, and I got a new motorcycle to boot! In forty years, I have never owned a new one before, and this M8 is pretty awesome..

I am curious (for my own learning) what didn't you like about the denim paint? Before buying my current ride I thought hard about buying a denim painted bike. I didn't because I thought it was be super hard to keep it clean.
