brake lights work, directional work but no running lights? at start up everything is fine, then a mile down road I get red light in dash and no running light? I stop, shut bike off, turn back on everything works and a mile down road same thing.
had the bars changed about 1k miles ago, what can I check?

 

It would help if you give us year and model. Also on the running lights, which ones are out?

"Had the bars changed" - by who? If its the dealer, I'd make them chase it down. I doubt it has to do with the bars however, in which case its warranty anyway

 

Sounds like the running light line might be shorted. Dump the codes in the BCM and see what they say.
