Default 2018 Passenger Floorboards

I purchased a 2018 Heritage Classic and want passenger floorboards. The dealer tells me with the new frame design, there are no passenger floorboards available. This is disappointing and how long before these are engineered?

I expect they will be released in exactly 86 days.

The Softails use a frame-welded (so it appears) mount that accepts only a peg mount. Aftermarket companies like Kuryakyn make boards with this mount, so you are not out of luck unless you have to have "HD" on it.

The touring models are good to go with proper floorboard passenger mounts.

There will need to be a “stand off” bracket because a floorboard would hit the primary cover.

Something like this should work, but let the buyer apply due diligence...

Woops, edited because they say they don't fit 2018 Softails... Sorry.

You will have to use after market stuff there out there just look around a bit and double check what you buy.
