What's the estimated installation costs? Is this easier than it looks?

About 4 hours... my cam swap was easy. My dealer charges $104’ish an hour. I only go to them for downloads (fans) and tires.

used all 3 in the twinks. Fueling ,screaming eagle and S&S S&S was the best design in every way.....took,them a bit longer to release but they even took in too account the very high tolerance of run out on cranks. Screens on all ports. Machine work was second to none....hope these are the same. SC Would not put in a junk....couple i have takin out already that failed. Fueling ? OK but not impressed with oil pressure being as stable hot or cold as I was with S&S........disclaimer I am NO ENGINE BUILDER....
S&S should have a home run......

Actually I find with TCs that unless it's a really big motor or using SnS cases , the stock pump is fine. If the motor sumps there is something wrong. M8s tho have a design issue similar to SnS cases that I suspect is best fixed with a dual svange rotor pump. I'm not a professional builder but have built more than a few motors.

Not really....TWINK pumps really didn't have much of a sump problem. They had more of a very low oil pressure at idle on a hot motor....that actually let the tensioners slop around. Plus never did have stable oil pressure at any RPMs Both not good.... Doesn't matter stock or built. I have S&S pumps and cam plates in 88s 96s and 103s. If you have done any work on any of these motors. Check the run out on the crank at the cam side. Some are pretty big .008..... Stock pumps don't live well and contribute to the cam tensioner BS. S&S pump if u have ever installed one addresses that problem. And it goes even further than that but I won't bore you with the details.. S&S makes a very good improved pump for even a stock 88. ( have one customer with 128,000 on a stock one with only the pump done ). Also NOT a pro engine builder.....but have plenty of dry sump experience in racing. My opinion 600 bucks is chicken feed when playing with big boy toys....

This is great news. I've used a lot of S&S products over the years and have had nothing but positive experiences.

For oil cooled only.... Damn!!!

If you read the pdf instructions for the pump they give two different P/N’s one for water cooled and one for oil cooled engines.
