Might have something else going on there. A different cooler won't make that much difference. Was it low on power too? What year/model?

Depending on what cooler your using adding a fan to it for low speed in traffic is going to be the only way to cool it down. While a cooler is a good thing with little to no airflow across it they do not work well.

Might take a look at the DK Customs Oil Filter Relocation Kit/Oil Cooler Kit combo. Not real exspensive and get real good writeups when I read about it (enough that I'm putting them on my 2016 TriGlide this month).

What are you oil temps running?
What bike (air/oil cooled or wet head)?
Fahrenheit or Celsius? (hoping F)

Rather have the air horn then the cooling fans. They would normally go right where the horn stacks are.
Right now it’s running in the low 300’s (F) on a hot day. Mine is a 2016 TriGlide Dual-Cooled Wet Head. (No Oil Cooler yet.) When I raised the gas tank 1.5” up off off the cylinders the temps went down a small bit but not enough for me. I’m actually going to be calling DK Customs in about 5 minutes and ordering the Oil Filter Relocation/Oil Cooler Kits. I would put fans on the cylinders but my Air Horns take up the space where those would normally go. And considering the amount of use those horns get here in Atlanta keeping the cages at bay I’m not willing to trade them out.
