I recently purchased a 2018 Road King Special and was going to do a stage 2 on it. A good friend if mine has a 2017 Street Glide CVO that had a 114 cc M8 that he upgraded to a 117. My question is am I able to take the 114 parts and install this in my RKS? I am not a mechanic and get pretty excited when I successfully change a light bulb so any advice is appreciated.

 

The 114 has a longer stroke than the 107, so the pistons' pin height will be wrong, so no it won't work. If he will give you the cylinders you can buy pistons or a kit that will make yours a 117". You will either have to bore the cylinders to fit or do an exchange. There are aftermarket cams, air cleaners, and mufflers that will make your 107 perform really well.
