Default Ohlins FKC 102

Anyone now if the FKC 102's will fit in the 17's? All the sites say 14-16 touring. I know they made some changes but I would think they would still fit.

Hi,
I see that the response above is that the Ohlins FKC-102 do fit '14 and up touring but, do you know if there is a specific part number in addition to the Ohlins FKC-102 Cartridge Kit number that designates the specific kit that fits in the 14 and up Harley touring 49mm forks? All of the descriptions from retail distributors including Ohlins web site only show the fitment for 13-16 Touring models. And/Or is there a modification needed to make the fit?

Thank you in advance

Order from a dealer who has actually done the job previously. If you order from someone who drop-ships the product than that is the quality of service you will receive. I just removed the check valves on a brand new FLH in order to install 30mm cartridges yesterday. I will measure them and compare against the 2017 which I do have. Yes, there is a difference between the 2016 & 2017. The question is what is the difference between the length of the check valve where the top out spring sits on top of.

Ohlins told me the 102 cartridges would not work on the 2017 and later models.
Check Ronnie's HD parts finder - the part numbers are different for the 2016 Ultra Classic fork tubes than the 2017 and later Ultra Classic fork tubes.

I know it doesn’t pertain “exactly” to your question, but my one complaint is that the Ohlins (and others, such as my Legends) aren’t externally adjustable. The GP Suspensions have had some great reviews here, and are externally adjustable.

I purchased my Ohlins fork shocks from Bulletproff Cycles for my 2017 SGS.

No sir I did not. They will be installed before spring by Battlefield Cycle Works in Rome, NY.
I called Bullettproff Cycles before I ordered them because I was getting a lot of feed back that
they would not work on a 2017. His reply was that they didn’t know what they are talking about.
He assured me that they will work and that was all I needed to know. It took a few days for the order to be
filled though as they set them up for rider weight etc.
Hope this helps.

Hope they work as I have a pair of 102’s in my garage.
If the install gets sideways buying a pair of 2016 fork tubes will (should) solve the problem.
