Anybody ever narrow their seat on a road glide ultra or ultra limited? I'm 5'9" with a short inseam. I can stand flat footed but just barely. A shop here town

I am 5'6", with a 28" inseam. I ended up buying an Ultra Limited Low. The dealership swapped seats for me to experiment with while in the showroom. The standard bike was just a little tall for me. So tried the seat that came on the low, still just a bit tall, could not flat foot. But, that is nothing new to me.
So, to answer your question. Yes, I believe that a narrower seat would help. Just IMO.

 

I'm looking to see if anybody has shaved down the factory seat can't afford hundreds of dollars to buy a new one thanx

 

I did my own a few bikes ago, yes, it helped. Held me until I could get a Mustang.
