Anybody know what the pinging/tinking noise is in this video? Mine does it and was wondering if anyone knows what it is. It runs fine other wise.

I've found that if you type in a URL on your phone, it doesnt post as an active link. You can go back and edit your post in a desktop browser and add a space, or a return and it will become an active link.

Keep us posted of what this noise is and I hope it isn't too serious. Some motors are just noisy but perform well so you may have to get use to it or put louder pipes on,

I hear it now it's something vibrating I think.
Very similar to the primary chain noise though.
That engine is nowhere near pinging .

cool. Atleast someone heard it besides me. It seems to be more apparent on the left side when i hear it on my bike. So it may very well be something in the primary. Whats weird is it seems to be worse in the higher gears. It to me is a pinging type noise same noise you hear in a old truck goinf up a big hill sometimes. Thats why i thought it might be pinging. However i have tried several different gas stations etc and while i could feel a difference in some fuels it never really made a difference in this sound issue im having. Suppose to pick the bike up tomorrow so we will see what the dealer says. Thanks for listening to it and giving your opinion. Atleast i know im not crazy now. Well i maybe still crazy. Anyway. Ha
