Yes so basically insignificant most law inforcement in are area won't consider ticketing till at least 10% over. So really if 3% bothers you just get it calibrated.

Default M8 fuel mileage

After doing the install of stage 2 with 447 cam A/N big sucker and modified stock mufflers, I got an average of 47 mpg. A high of 52 and a low of 42. My mileage is always twist relative, when riding in large groups (more the 10) mileage is higher. This recording is on my 2020 Road Glide Limited.

Insignificant in the eyes of the law, but significant when it comes to accurately measuring fuel mileage.

I log all fuel burned in the bike using an Excel spreadsheet so this method is about as accurate as you can get. I am an easy rider. Typically ride around 3000-3500 rpms. No WOT events. I have to admit that the Stage II figures really surprised me because I was not looking for that big of a drop in mileage. Still, it is what it is. The long and short of it is "if you want to go fast, you have to pay for it".
this is excellent information.
what tuner are you using.

I have Torquer 450 slip ons on the stock header with a SE Heavy breather and getting 35 mpg approx.

ride mainly at 3000 rpm with an occasional twist of the throttle. Being well behaved may manage 36 or 37 mpg.

Default Around 40mpg. I just hit 20,000 miles on my 2020 Road Glide Limited and changed the screaming eagle slip on for the Tab Slipons with the Zombie baffles, sounds much better and the performance is as good if not slightly better.

LOL, exactly why I'm happy to be our Road Captain and plan/lead our group's rides. My small bladder can depend on me knowing where our next stop will be

It definitely depends on how you ride it. My Stage 2 includes a Wood 22XE and D&D Billet Cat (w/ Louvered Baffle). On my last ride my Power Vision reported just under 50 mpg, on another ride I was in the lower 40's mpg, but another over 50 mpg. I don't consider any of this a significant impact on mpg and am loving the increased performance! As expected, I'm satisfied with my Stage 2 results, wouldn't go back and will think long and hard about the necessity of going to Stage 3.

2020 Sport Glide, torque cam with stock pipes and AC. I consistently get 51 to 54 no matter what. 50% two-up. There is so much low down torque that I can run 300 to 500 less RPM's than I did stock. What I used to do in 4th or 5th gear I can now do in 6th. It's not lugging at all. Read the manuel. I seldom need to exceed 2600. Why would you ride around at 3000 to 3500 all the time. Are you trying to wear it out on purpose ? My tank is only 5 gallons and I enjoy going 225 miles between stops.
