No the 20 ounces came out of the crank not the oil pan, the engine should have minimal oil while running, the rest is in the drain pan, the wet sump is caused by it not being drained or pushed back into the oil pan

When I called HD (the dealer) and said I had 7100 miles the said well its past the 5K mark, which I think is bullshit, but I can only write what I was told
.
I was a little high on my pricing for the new oil pump, they want to put in will be close to 1100 including labor. It is what it is.

I will not buy another bike from the dealer where I bought this one, and the last two from, as I had nothing but problems with the service department.

From day one when I installed all my extras on the 2018 limited, there were problems from dropping and bending the front fender, to my chrome gauge covers falling off while riding, and then bringing it back in to be fixed and the tech used some sort of glue which damaged the colored matched inner faring (they replaced) to the final item, when she came out of winter storage from HD and I picked her and up went to Daytona bike week, put on more miles and had a service done. Low and behold the transmission had 4-5 ounce of fluid (should have had 28) and before you ask, no Primary was also low. So I am thinking the morons drained the 3 holes and never replaced the trany and primary.

The bike does not leak a drop. so that wasn't the problem, I know now to double check every time it leaves HD. The money we pay for service we should not have to worry about it, but LIVE and LEARN and RIDE
What are all your extras ?
Why is the bike not warrantied because of the extras?
I still basically don't know what you're talking about.
When ppl blame HD techs I have to wonder as my guys never screwed up anything like that in over 30 years and I had a moron or two.
Maybe you should just go buy a Goldwing?

Peace.

The oil pump I had put in is a S& S oil pump and cam plate, and I don't know what HD uses (garbage I am guessing) this pump was $550.25, not a 100 bucks

So you've put an S@S oil pump/plate in it and you can't get warranty because of that right ?
You say it sumped with the S@S oil pump in it ?

Peace.
Addendum I'm at exactly 1k posts I will now stop posting for a while and enjoy it.
Therefore I will preempt your reply if it's in warranty and you put parts on it to invalidate your warranty I no longer care as that was kinda stupid to do that.
I sorta no longer care cause it smells a little of BS .
Yes it's me not you that's the issue in this relationship and I want out.I am the problem not you.
Look after yourself.
