Default I am too ****.....

Well, after 5 black bikes I got fed up with washing my bike after each ride. If it sits for more than a couple days, have to take the dust off (garage doors stay open once I get home).

Been eyeing up a Crushed Ice Pearl SGS since the local dealer got one in. Once the 18's came out, they called and asked me if I was still interested. I told them I really don't want to get a new bike (really like how my '14 SGS is set up now). But would buy it if I got a great deal. They said make an offer....

Gave them a low ball offer. They called back the next day and accepted my offer.

Only got to go on 3 rides (about 1000 miles). Haven't washed it yet!!!

Had a bunch of white trucks in the past. Easiest color to keep clean.

Have to admit though, nothing classier than a clean black bike with shiny chrome.......

I love my black SGS, I also love cleaning and polishing every square inch of it, I normally ride about 1,000 miles per month every month of the year and I admit I spend ALOT of time polishing and waxing but I love it, nothing like rolling out of the garage every ride with a bike that is cleaner than the day I bought it off the showroom floor.

Very true, I did use cleaning time as therapy time as well.

Grandkids are getting older and requiring more of my time now.

And, this whole "work" thing is taking up a lot of my free time as well.

Snowing here today, so looks like I will be just looking at her in the garage for the next 5 months....CRAPPY!

I need to move south.

1 minute with a duster and black bikes look good as new

So what was the lowball offer they accepted?

I do like that color. Isn't that the color that has some kind of "flake" in it? What's it look like out in the sun?

I know what you mean about a black bike.I choose black on my 2016 SGS and after 18 months,I traded it off for a Velocity Red Sunglow SGS.Now dust and swirl marks don't show up like on the Vivid Black color.

I wash my bike once a month. It does not bother me that it's dirty. Of course if I plan on going on a nice group ride or some rally I will wash it right before although I know it will just be that filthy bike at the end of the day again.

But man it does look sexy when it's all polished up.

Paid $7000 difference

Owned the 14 for 4 years. 30,000 miles and needed tires!

Have 2 California dusters but they still leave streaks.
